When your marketing idea doesn’t produce what you hoped, it’s easy to give up. Easy to look around for another winning strategy. At that wavering time, this is where continuity of purpose is needed. Give your strategy a chance. Success may be right round the corner. You’ll never find out if you switch horses too soon.
On the other hand, if something isn’t working, drop it. Don’t make the mistake of sticking with something that doesn’t work for you. Loyalty in that situation is foolhardy.
Self-doubt can ruin all your plans. And I think we women are prone to it, especially the solopreneurs among us. That’s why I believe that working on mindset and confidence ,as well as business strategy and techniques, is vital for women running their own coaching, consulting and training business.
Like a Jigsaw
In my programmes I focus on helping you build your business mindset and confidence in several ways, as well as on strategy. Like a jigsaw, we need to approach the business from different angles to get the whole thing complete and working together.
Manage your thinking, choose the right niche, package your service to attract the clients you want, show your uniqueness, to name just a few of the pieces to put in place.
Once you have done so, you’ll find you have a strong inner confidence and conviction in what you offer, your price, your system.
And that’s when you CAN keep going through barren times.
Because you deeply know your true worth and the results your clients gain from working with you.
From My Own Experience
Since I reached this position of conviction myself, some years ago now, I find I can ride out less profitable months with ease.
I don’t suffer the self-doubt I used to feel, that turned into bitter self-talk and a kind of desperation to sell whenever a potential client showed up. That desperation seeps through your communication and makes building real trust impossible, let alone a flow of sales.
